Slower is a small app made by one person. If something is broken, confusing, or missing, write to me — I read everything.
Common questions
- I missed a few days. Did I lose anything?
- No. Slower has no streaks and no penalties. Missed days stay empty, and that's the whole point — an honest month is more useful than a perfect one.
- Where is my data stored?
- On your device, and in your own private iCloud. It never reaches a server of mine, because there isn't one.
- I got a new phone. How do I move my days over?
- Sign in to the same iCloud account and open Slower. Your days sync down automatically. Make sure iCloud Drive is on.
- Can I fill in a day I missed?
- Yes. Open Months and tap any past day. You can add the sentence or the photo whenever it comes back to you — memories arrive late, and that's fine. The daily mission is the one thing that stays with its own day.
- Can I get my data out?
- Not yet. Your days live on your device and in your own private iCloud — never on a server of mine — but there is no export button right now. A full archive, photographs included, is being built.
- What does supporting Slower unlock?
- Every feature is free forever, and always will be. The one-time supporter tip unlocks looks, not function: three more papers, three alternate app icons, and one extra way to replay a month.
- How do I restore a supporter tip on a new device?
- Settings → Restore Purchases, signed in with the same Apple Account you used originally.
